Oversized handmade Persian area rug from high-quality sheep’s wool and colored with eco-friendly vegetable dyes that are proven safe for humans and pets alike. It’s a Classic Sultanabad design showcasing a regal ivory field with prominent Herati flower heads in white and pink. It’s a lovely piece that should be featured in modern and contemporary spaces. It has a dimension of 21’7” x 23’7” which is an ideal size for large bedrooms, living and dining rooms.
The Sultanabad name hails from the city of Arak in Iran which was originally named ‘Soltan Abad’ that eventually became Sultanabad. It was founded in the early 1800s and became one of the most important rug production centers in the world. The intricate patterns and details found in these rugs have made it one of the most desirable especially among collectors and interior designers.
