Persian Nahavandi Geometric Blue Rug

About the Item

Hamadan is one of the largest weaving areas in the region and encompasses hundreds of villages. Each one of these villages has its own characteristic weaving tradition that dictates the patterns and sizes of the rugs made there. This stunning Nahavandi rug has a geometric design with outstanding tribal motifs. This stunning rug has wool pile with cotton foundation. This tribal hand weaved gem is considered to be durable and long lasting and it is could be used in traditional or transitional design as well. The base color in this piece is indigo blue with salmon border color. The size is 4 feet 9 wide by 10 feet tall. This rug would look amazing in a Mid Century, Hollywood Regency, Danish Modern, Home Décor. It is important to note that in different light settings of the house, the rug may seem slightly lighter or darker.
