About the Item
Another in our limited collection of superior woven and highly finished tribal pieces from the early 20th century . This example projects the authentic Qashgai symbols of tribal medallions, and flowers along with some artistic touches which belong to the weaver’s own art and imagination : note the two columns on the outer sides of the main field a subtle “art deco “ touch nicely integrated into the whole conception . This is in excellent condition and more finally woven with a higher quality wool than is often found in tribal examples . The design and medium large size makes it versatile in any number of living spaces , and this is a piece which projects and radiates .
