Relatively coarse woven on cotton, this NW Persian village piece shows a geometric pattern of large jagged leaves, organised along three axes. Powerful abrash in the neutral field and in the brown pattern. Slate strip style border of simplified reversing turtles. Areas of wear. Green accents within the border. A really nice rustic distressed piece for cool shabby chic settings.
