Unbelievable 19th Century Tekeh Rug

About the Item

An unbelievable late 19th century Persian Tekeh rug with a wonderful all-over trellised medallion pattern woven in burnt orange, gold, and light and dark indigo vegetable dyed wool on a fantastic orange background. The borer is wonderful with a geometric stylized floral and vine pattern surrounded the central field, and a beautiful wide band of stylized flowers on each end.
