Vintage Distressed Kurdish Carpet

About the Item

:: Allover covered field in a Seichor Caucasian design motif with sprawling medallions with quatrefoil contour atop a field in allover buds, blossoms and more. Ideally this carpet would be situated deeper inside the home for light to moderate traffic. Colors and shades include: Dusty denim blue, antique ivory, beige, sand, chocolate brown, antique ivory, powder blue and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Heavy restorations throughout. One end measures the noted width while opposing measures 6'11", within normal margins for type and age. A few bare spots to exposed foundation. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Kurdish carpet made in Kurdistan circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 7'3" x 12'10".
