Vintage Heriz Runner
About the Item
Of superior Serapi grade, this NW Persian village kenare shows a natural, madder red field centred by a five section pole medallion. Each rounded cartouche-like segment has a finger fringe surrounding it and is accented in ecru and buff-camel. Small en suite fringed divider motives. Main ecru border of colourful, rounded “wedgie shoes” more often seen on Caucasian rugs. Moderate weave. Visible wear .Fair condition.
