About the Item
Very unusually designed tribal piece with seven hexagon medallions in the middle and two semi hexagons at each end.These medallions are decorated differently but most notably two of them graced with a lovely tree of life motif. The rug is surrounded with a brown/maroon border adorned by flowers and leaves and two navy guard border. The color pallet of this rug is compelling which is contrasting with its primitive design, yet this bohemian look makes this rug one of the kind.
This rug is in very good condition without any restorations and almost full pile,all sides and ends are original.Wool used to hand make the rug is hand spun and well pounded which makes the rug very durable.The estimated time to hand knot this rug is about 1000 hour. Measures: 4 x 6’4”.
