About the Item

Early 20th century Swedish pile carpet. Initialed: Fo SY 1927 (Einar Forseth). Woven by Örve Hälsinglands Hemslöjdsförening. Inscriptions: Three anchors, A-I-B, E 27/10 T. This carpet was a gift from AB Iggesunds Bruk to Erns Trygger (University Chancellor at that time) on his seventieth birthday the 27 October 1927.
