Beautiful small vintage Rya rug from 1938. Compromising of a central flower motif in pink, blue and green with a beige background and brown border. Rya rug or Knotted Pile carpet were popular in Scandinavia as decorative objects to use as rugs, bed throws or wall hangings. The long strands of wool gives the rya its rich texture and are perfect for decorative designs like this one.
