This Louis Philippe Aubusson tapestry carpet from the mid1800s (circa 1840s) has one of the most spectacular design and color combinations. A central oval floral medallion flanked by sprays on the dusty rose field is within an olive green vinery border. The Aubusson carpet has a classic floral design pattern set on a brilliant dusty rose color background with floral designs in turquoise, red, pink, blue, cream, and other wonderful colors.
