About the Item

It is a handmade wool rug/arazzo, made with typical kilim technique and produced by Cepelia in Poland. Measuring 192 cm x 106 cm, this piece depicts three musicians playing traditional instruments, wearing typical clothes. The design skillfully combines shades of light blue, light blue and gray, creating a harmonious and delicate visual effect. The subject is rendered in a geometric style, characteristic of folk art reinterpreted by the Cepelia circle. This work was featured in the publication "Visual Artists of Cepelia," highlighting Polish craftsmanship. 1970s
