Large sized 10 x 13 ft Renaissance Aubusson Savonnerie style European hand knotted Area rug
This large hand knotted wool rug shows a French design from the Renaissance period. it has a wool pile and cotton warp and weft. It is decorated with flowers and plants.
It was made in the 1960s in Bucarest, Romania. Rugs of this origin are well known for their vibrant colors and excellent work.
The size will go well for a dining room, family room, living room, conference room or elegant office. The design is perfect for interior design styles like Industrial, Trump, Victorian, Vintage, Ethno, Bohemian, Art Deco, Arts & Crafts, Biedermeier, Jugendstil and Hollywood Regency. The condition of this beautiful rug is very good, pile a little lower in some spots, fringes short and selvage in excellent condition.
