About the Item
Design Title: "Disobedience" from Freedom Collection
This is the first carpet from the "Freedom Collection", inspired by the disobedience of Ms. Yeonmi Park while escaping from North Korea.
Its named disobedience after Yeonmi's fathers' disobedience to the strict travel rules of North Corea.
The light rectangular is natural silk and the lines tells the story of her father who took a different route, which continues into the fringe.
Carpets CC is the carpet design brand of Cecilia Setterdahl. She uses bold colours and geometrical forms to create bespoke carpets.
Cecilia is based in Dubai since 2015.
