About the Item
This limited-edition hand-knotted carpet is titled WINGS. It is meant to up-lift the mood with its bright yellow and black and white stripes.
The design was inspired though Cecilia planting a Buddleia (Butterfly bush) in her garden.
It attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. All with vibrant colors, shapes and emotions.
The shape of the butterfly wings is coming in a geometric version in the design. This time it's a yellow wing.
Wings can be done in different colors and sizes.
Always made by hand in New Zealand wool, can be with or without fringes.
This is 100 knots per square inch, without fringes. The pile is approx 10-12MM thick.
This carpet is I/X edition, it took approx. 3 months to produce.
