Inspired by the rugs of the French Empire period, a circular arrangement of leaves in green, russet and gold surround white, pale blue and beige rosettes on a warm yellow and gold background within a sienna red border. Made with fine quality wool yarns this handmade needlepoint rug has many subtle color shades similar to antique rugs. Has passed independent durability tests by the Independent Textile Service of Dalton, Georgia, USA. Green manufacturing methods make this rug safe for children and pets. Used with a pad this rug helps to keep rooms warm in winter, cool in summer and dampen urban noise. Measures: 9'11" x 13'9".
