Anglo Indian Armchair Throne Silver Embossed Throne 19th Century

Antique Anglo Indian Armchair Throne Silver Embossed Throne late 19th Century.
Anglo-Indian silver embossed throne chair, the detailed silvered metal chair frame has been hammered and embosses to create beautiful Indian floral motifs.
A very theatrical large throne chair with an intricately carved frame having stylized shells and scrolls with the foot a raised snail’s head motif and the entire wood frame covered in a dazzling silver embossed clad.
The armchair is with an oval padded back, surmounted with an arched cresting conjoined with outset stiles, the back is decorated with repousse work in a foliate and floral motif throughout.
The seat is covered with an purple material that show wear( probably needed to be changed).
The repousse work on the front and back can purpose the chair to be floating in the middle of the room or up against the wall.

Condition. Antique condition, silver with patina, fabric with spot stains and back fabric with loose thread.
The throne chair measures 27” wide by 36” total depth by 37” high at back.
