About the Item

Antique 18th Century Irish Chippendale Arm Chair. Made from mahogany with a serpentine carved crest rail featuring fretwork carved ears over an interlaced pierced urn-shaped splat with scrolling acanthus carvings flanked by fluted stiles and shapely knuckle carved arms over a red upholstered seat with brass nailhead trim. The chair is supported by cabriole legs with acanthus carved knees and shapely ball and claw feet. Dimensions: 26" x 25.5" x 38"h, seat 19.5"
