Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this absolutely stunning antique circa 1830 William IV Chesterfield tufted library armchair with faded oxblood upholstery and ornately carved barley twist mahogany legs

A very good looking and classily designed William IV piece, this chair has the look of the early Robert Gillows chairs, it is a super elegant and very comfortable piece of English town house furniture that looks expensive and important in any setting
The chairs comes with the original faded leather upholstery, I have left this as it is as its faded beautifully, I can have it fully restored and hand dyed a wonderful Boudreaux colour for £600 should the new owner wish
The chair has been lightly restored to include a deep clean, hand condition wax and hand polish of the timber, there will be normal age and use related patina marks as you would expect for a 190+ year old piece
