About the Item
A fine antique William IV leather desk chair. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1830-1840 period.
It is extremely well made, with a beautifully carved frame. The legs and spindles on the back are nicely turned, the legs sit on original brass casters. The deep buttoned leather has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, with original horse hair stuffing.
We have had the frame re-polished, the leather has been revived by our leather restorer. This is in excellent overall condition, with an absolutely gorgeous patina.
