Baleri Italia Kin Lounge Armchair in Fabric by Radice Orlandini

About the Item

The Kin seat takes inspiration from the Japanese Kintsugi technique, which tends to highlight the value of breakages rather than seeking to conceal them. Reflecting the Japanese tradition, designers Radice and Orlandini have taken the different parts of the frame and put them together in an unprecedented visual solution that conveys a sense of seemingly unstable balance. The load-bearing structure is hidden from view and the deceptive contrast between the parts can be emphasized with different materials and finishes. The lounge armchair declines the concept offering more comfort. Armchair with flexible polyurethane backrest, cold processed without CFC. The studio provides a wide range of services for businesses and if necessary it can oversee the product development procedure right up to the actual production stage. During this process, it can analyse the production costs and – if it is part of the agreement with the company – the strategies required to reach the set target price can be established. Over the years, the firm has built up the expertise needed to cooperate with printers and manufacturers using various forms of technology for materials such as wood, polyurethane, die-cast aluminium, plastics, upholstery and metal structures.
