About the Item
Armchair, ash, cane, The Netherlands, 1950s.
This elegant armchair features a warm ash wooden frame. The stately high back makes this piece of furniture very remarkable. The backrest is furnished with woven cane, and blends nicely with the color of the ash frame. Two pointy carved 'ears' decorate the backrest and emphasize the majestic appearance of the chair. Multiple spindles are installed to support the construction, as seen between the chairs' legs and underneath the armrests.
