About the Item

A good quality late Victorian deconstructed tub chair. The reconditioned oak frame is raised on mahogany turned legs and finished with brass castors. The armchair has been fully restored and stripped back to the frame for upholstery with a restored coil spring base, with hessian lining and calico coverings added ready for new upholstery. The Original black and white horse hair stuffing remained in the chair for the restoration of this project. A custom duck feather cushion is included with this beautiful armchair.
