With an elegantly cosy appearance, this chair is a stylish example of the soft, curved aesthetic side of mid-century modernism in Europe. Adopting the trend of abandoning ornamentation to benefit the form, the designer of this chair managed to maintain the beauty and warmth of this style of enveloping design. The large, curved backrest - that constitutes the armrests as well - follows the curve of the voluptuous seat and slopes downward gently.
