About the Item
A very fine Antique Arm Chair with well carved frame dating into the 19th Century. The frame with strong foliate carving, the arms with an interesting re-curved support and the apron and cabriolet legs with more foliate carvings and a stylized hoof foot. The chair has been impeccably re-upholstered in a refined short pile velvet with an outstanding design filled with Swags and Regal emblem type decoration in subtle Red, Tan, Olive and Cream and the arms apron have true Brass Nail-Head Trim.
Dimensions: 41.75” high by 28” wide by 27” deep. Seat height 15”.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various age related acceptable wear including sporadic finish losses and slight chipping to the frame which does not impact the exceptional presentation.
