Fartura Armchair in Neotenic Style by Tiago Curioni

About the Item

"Fartura" in Portuguese, means abundance, wealth. Not in the financial sense exactly, but of everything that brings joy and happiness. It is a term widely used in Italian family meals, to represent the quantity and variety of food on the table. Fartura armchair appropriates this concept exactly, with a solid wood structure of large and succulent proportions. Inspired by the concept of Neotenic Design, extremely current and contemporary, we wanted to bring, in a piece of compact proportions, the unmistakable design of this armchair. Notice that the armchair seems to want to run away at any moment, because of the legs that refer to those of an animal. With sophisticated manufacture, capable only by the use of robots that create perfect fits for the wooden pieces, Fartura armchair has Its structure in Brazilian Tauari wood, which has a natural matte honey tone, but which can also be in a dark ebonized tone. The tapestry follows a (synthetic) sheep fur pattern in light or black.
