About the Item
Fine Pair of custom upholstered Antique French Armchairs with gilt and intricately carved frames, frame with overall Laurel Leaf, Scroll and Foliate carving, fluted and tapered round legs, arm manchettes and Classic French form. The Pair have been upholstered in a sophisticated thick woven tapestry like fabric with tones of Gold and Wheat with all over twisting rope trim. Very solid feeling and quite comfortable.
Measurement: Each Arm Chair measures 24.15” wide by 21” deep by 41.25” high. Seat height is 18.25” and the arm height is 27.25” high.
Condition: The overall condition is very good with only slight acceptable age-related wear including some expected gilt loss which does not detract from the very fine authentic French presentation.
