French 18th Century Oak Armchair
About the Item
A French 18th century (circa 1790) transitional style oak armchair reflecting design influences from Hepplewhite and Sheraton tastes with Directoire refinement. Plain arms frame the wide seat upholstered in a striped, cut velvet like a wide-wale corduroy alternating green and gold.
