French Louis XVI Swivel “Bergère”
About the Item
French fauteuil, “bergère” in the Louis XVI Style, hand carved beech wood with its original patinated ivory color finish, fluted details and freezes. X stretcher at the bottom. The swiveling bergère features its original cognac leather upholstery and decorative brass tacks throughout. This is a strong and comfortable armchair. The piece is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
