This extraordinary rustic chair is handcrafted from a single pine log, giving it a unique organic shape and timeless presence. Its solid construction, combined with the natural beauty of the wood grain, makes it both a striking piece of furniture and a historical artefact. An inscription written in Swedish beneath the seat reveals its remarkable story. Here is the translation into English: "In 1934, in Norraskogen, the pine tree from which this chair was crafted was felled. The tree was estimated to be 400 to 500 years old, and the timber for the chair was taken from five meters above the ground." Size: H80 cm x W68 cm x D90 cm Seat height 40 cm.
