Isamu Kenmochi (1912-1971), pair of armchairs by Akita Mokko, Yuzawa, Japan 1964. Pair of Japanese modernism, influenced by Bruno Taut, Charlotte Perriand and Isamu Noguchi, it claims a design bringing together "the machine and the hand, the human and nature, reason and emotion". These rare bent oak armchairs are models of technique and refinement. Very good condition.
