Large French Louis XIII Wingback Armchair, with Headrests, 18th-Century
About the Item
Large French Louis XIII wingback armchair, with headrests, 18th-century. A fine example of French craftsmanship.
Rare find with bronze carrying mounted handles on both on sides of carved armrests and two further handles on both sides of the back. "Bobines" walnut legs with H-shaped stretcher base, solid, wide and deep model. Upholstered in classic Louis XIII Style striped velvet in period colours in very good state, with nailhead trim.
Sturdy armchair in very good condition.
