Large and Very Decorative Antique Throne Armchair, 19th Century Solid Wood

About the Item

Large, massive and very decorative antique throne chair. Carefully and in detail carved. At first glance, the armchair has Asian elements. The lion heads and the coat of arms, however, clearly have a European character. Therefore, the provenance is difficult to determine. Probably colonial time. The chair is dismountable and currently not attached. Consisting of back part, front part, armrests, seat part and three trim strips. Age-related condition. Upholstery needs to be renewed.
