A particularly noteworthy Savonarola chair with deft carving and vibrant and colorful custom seat and back fabric. Late 19th century/early 20th century Renaissance style Savonarola walnut arm chair. The chair with curule styling, carved classical figures, lavish red velvet upholstery, X-form base, brass tack decorated and the front resting on dolphin feet.
Dimensions: 23 1/2" W, 21" D, 19 1/2" seat height and 36 3/4" H
Condition: Please see detail photos. The overall condition is very good with acceptable age borne wear including some spotting to the velvet which does not detract from the dramatic presentation.
