Liberty and Co. A Moorish high-back walnut armchair with elongated turned finials and triangular upper supports to each side pierced with Moorish devices. Under the shaped arms and under the leather backrest are Musharabieh turnings. Further triangular pierced supports under the leather seat and bobbin-turned details below the arm and to the front legs.

A lovely late 17th century Spanish walnut and leather armchair, retaining its original leather seat and back, held by worn gilt brass studs. The back of the chair has two finely carved scroll acanthus finials above two broad arms, which are supported by carved balusters that run through into square front legs, these are joined by a high and heavily carved stretcher with two shaped stretchers joining the front and back legs at either side.
