About the Item
Armchair "Peg-Lev" by Michel Arnoult in solid wood, leather backrest and seat, resting on four square section feet for a resolutely modern design at a right angle, softened by the backrest adjustable to the body position and the sensuality of the leather.
In addition to being an architect who marked Brazilian modernism, Michel Arnoult also brought a revolution in furniture by offering, especially with this Peg-Lev model, a new furniture concept to be bought as a spare part and to assemble yourself easily. In doing so, he was able to offer his audience high-quality pieces of realization, of an innovative design, and this at a price accessible to as many people as possible, remaining faithful to the ideal of social utopia that carried the Brazilian design of this mid-twentieth century.
This piece is in very good vintage condition, with a beautiful period leather patinated by time that gives it an assertive character and the charm of authenticity.
