About the Item
'Dal Vera' Italy, set of vintage rattan armchairs Japandi style, 1970's.
Based in Conegliano in the Veneto region of Italy, Dal Vera was founded in 1884 by Antonio & Figli Dal Vera.
Dal vera became very popular in the 60's & 70's when Charlotte Perriand hand picked some of their furniture for the Les Arcs ski resort.
Dal Vera had a good view of the zeitgeist during these years and designed popular furniture.
Here is a set of bamboo armchairs which is clearly inspired by Japanese design. The armrests display the typical 'Torii' element.
These chairs are all handmade and not exact copys from each other there might be slight differences. The pictures show you that this is a marvelous set.
Good condition with remnant of paper 'Dal vera Italy' label.
