About the Item

In this listing you will find a spectacular and very rare Mid Century Modern suspension armchair in bamboo, designed by Fratelli Castano. The chair features an egg shaped form, with a round cushion made of plush with monstera print. Made in Italy in the 1950s. The armchair was refinished and the cushion was made especially for it. The only thing the armchair is missing is either a rope, a hook or a chain, with which it would be hung from a tree or a platform. When purchased the armchair will be carefully wrapped up and packed in a way to avoid any damages in transport.
