Midcentury 366 Club Armchair in Gray Blue Boucle, J. Chierowski, Europe, 1960s

About the Item

The 366 armchair is an icon of the polish design of the PRL period. The famous armchair was designed in 1962 by the Polish interior designer and furniture designer Jozef Marian Chierowski. Produced in the Lower Silesian Furniture Factory in Swiebodzice. The chair has a simple, modernist form. It consists of an upholstered seat combined with a wooden backrest. The organic shape is typical of the 1960s style. The chair is very ergonomic and comfortable, as the furniture designs of that time were largely focused on the user. Due to its small size, the furniture fits perfectly into the interiors of contemporary apartments, perfectly meeting the needs of customers. A boucle fabric whose uniqueness is added by its particularly pronounced weave. The fabric is made of recycled polyester. It is characterised by high resistance to light. The fabric is composed of yarns of one colour but of different thicknesses. Isla perfectly combines with smooth structures, we can easily match it with multicoloured weaves. The fabric fits Scandinavian and rustic style, combined with chrome or black accessories it becomes elegant and balanced. A wide range of colours corresponds to this year's trends, it also includes many timeless colours. Easy cleaning will guarantee us comfort of use, clean and attractive furniture for years.
