About the Item
Pair antique French Louis XVI painted armchairs ~ fauteuils will make a classic addition to any decor! The ovoid shield shaped seat back and generous seat are framed in incredibly detailed carved fruitwood, styled with spiral ribbon, fabric swags and acanthus leaves, all accented by the patinaed painted finish with subtle gold highlights. Tapered and fluted legs provide support, and the high quality damascene upholstery is in very good condition. Such pieces were not only designed for entertaining in style, they're also decorative elements in their own right!
If you act fast, the original matching canape and four side chairs are also available!
