Pair Antique Italian Painted Petite Armchairs
About the Item
Pair Antique Italian Painted Petite Armchairs were crafted on a diminutive scale, making the pair perfect for cozy seating groups, the bedroom or as accent chairs. The undulating form of the framework completely wraps around the seatback design, connecting to the frame which is similarly contoured and accented with floral and foliate carvings. All four legs feature a graceful cabriole form, with the entire frame boasting its original painted finish which has achieved a lovely state of aging and patina over the decades. Upholstery includes two comfortable cushions, and is serviceable but should be replaced with your coordinating fabric. The pair offers surprising comfort provided with a smaller scale!
