Made in the early years of the collective – active since 1932 – these seats embody the spirit of Italian rationalism that in the 1920s and 1930s began to redefine domestic space with a sober, functional and deeply cultured language.
The painted or tubular metal structure – often chosen by the studio for its structural clarity – dialogues with the padded seats with contained but welcoming shapes. The design is clear, but never rigid.
