About the Item

A Pair of 19th Century French Carved Giltwood Chairs, of Good Size. A pair of nicely aged gilt armchairs with original gilding and detailed carving throughout. The cabriole legs are attached to an apron with central carving. There are small areas of carving on the scrolled arm supports and on the centre of the back rail.
