Pair of Antique Chinese Rosewood Armchairs
About the Item
A pair of antique Chinese armchairs crafted from rosewood, possibly Huanghuali rosewood, circa Late 19th century. The back is decorated with hand carved fruit and fauna motifs. We love the combination of intricate swirling forms and the more squared geometric structure of the chairs. The wood has aged beautifully, taking on a warm red-brown hue and rounded corners.

By Celina Decoracoes
Located in New York, NY
