Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this sublime large pair of fully restored Howard & Son's George Smith style Signature Scroll Arm cigar brown leather armchairs with oversized feather filled cushions. Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price. These are just about the finest armchairs available to buy today upholstered with premium leather upholstery which is as “English Country House Fine” as you can get. These are the largest and deepest model available to buy, upholstered in plain russet leather then hand dyed These chairs almost never come up on the open market for sale pre loved as they are all kept in the family, they are amazing. The cushions are overstuffed feather and down filled. They are either George Smith or Howard Chairs LTD the modern day Howard & Son's, they have the extra large seat cushions which recess under the back rest, this means you are never sitting on the back of the cushion which means it doesn't sag, this was something Howard invented and George Smith copied, I've never another company do this before The chairs have been professionally restored to include having the leather washed back and hand dyed this rich cigar brown colour, they are very fine indeed Dimensions each: Height:- 82cm seat height 44.5cm Width:- 84.5cm Depth:- 115cm to the cushion front 113cm frame only Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
