Pair of French Art Deco armchairs in solid rosewood with stylized carvings 1920s
This type of armchair in this quality of wood and the quality of the carvings are very rare.
The armchairs have a rectilinear shape with stepped elements on the feet and fluting on the armrests.
The armrests have stylized, sculpted Art Deco flowers on the inside and outside.
The armchairs have been completely refurbished.
The new silk matt lacquer finish of the wood is restrained in its gloss level and allows the form and the
carvings come to the fore.
The fluffy chenille by Pierre Frey in the color "powder" is soft in color and soft in feel, it nestles perfectly against the armchair and emphasizes the rosewood with understatement.
