A fine pair of Italian 19th century Rococo style giltwood carved armchairs; the arched upholstered paneled backs with foliate scroll cresting and similar borders, having padded arm supports above slip-in seat, raised on flower heads decorated cabriolet legs ending in scrolled feet, circa 1860-1870. Measures: Height 41 1/2 inches (106 cm) Width 30 inches (76.2 cm) Depth 31 inches (78.7 cm).
