A fine pair of Italian 19th century Rococo style giltwood carved armchairs; the arched upholstered paneled backs with foliate scroll cresting and similar borders, having padded arm supports above slip-in seat, raised on flower heads decorated cabriolet legs ending in scrolled feet, circa 1860-1870.

- Condition:Reupholstered. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading. A beautiful pair of armchairs. There is some distress on the gilt with peeling, flaking, some gilt losses and old restorations. In mostly original condition. The fabric in fair to good condition. (See photos).
