About the Item
Beautiful armchair GFM-142, designed by Edmund Homa, a polish architect, designer of Industrial Design and interior architecture, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland.
The armchair was made in the 1960s in the Gosciecinska furniture factory from solid beech wood. The GFM-142 armchair is regarded one of the best polish armchair design from the previous age.
The armchair has been thoroughly renovated. The tension belts have been changed, new upholstery foams, upholstery it's Italian velvet of the highest quality from Dedar company.
About the fabric:
A feline conflict breaks out on a vividly coloured soft velvet jacquard. The tiger’s stripes cast off their sinuous nature and the rapid movement of the graphic strokes recomposes them in a dynamic pattern of indistinct shapes. Hardwearing and endowed with a soft and dense feel, this fabric lends itself to upholstery.
Composition: 100% Cotton
Martindale: 80.000
This chair can be customized to your specifications or COM. Wood, stain, finish, fabric and custom dimensions options are available. Check the last pictures with tiger and wood color samples.
Extremely comfortable model! We can prepare this armchair also in a set with foot stool.
