About the Item

This beautiful pair of vintage mid century modern arm chairs in the style of Gio Ponti, possibly made by Dassi are circa 1950s. The distinctive design features sculptural, lacquered solid wood frames with clean, elegant lines and gentle, organic curves. Padded seats and bow-tie shaped backrests have original brown upholstery in a textured fabric with taupe brown pinstripes and thin black and pale blue accent lines. A truly unique and well-crafted pair of chairs; perfect as side chairs, dining chairs or accent chairs.
