About the Item
A pair of ornate bamboo armchairs with seat cushions. This vintage pair Indonesian chairs feature bamboo frames, which have been constructed with intricately designed panels found throughout their backsides, arm rests, and skirting. The top rail and arm rests are lined in bamboo rods. The chairs are raised on six bamboo legs, each braced with an arch-shaped support, and straight bamboo rods just above their feet. They retain their original seat cushions, which are in need of new upholstery- a great opportunity to make these chairs fit your space. This pair of bamboo occasional chairs will make a for an intimate seating arrangement together (perhaps in a sun-room or bedroom), with their light and airy design and subtle tropical flair.
